Brad at the HSBC NZ PGA 26/02/2007

Brad flew in from Adelaide on Monday evening for the HSBC NZ PGA.Brad tee’d off early Thursday had the opportunity to play with NZ’s second ranked player in the world David Smail. Brad had a solid round hitting 15 greens, an eagle on 14 to finish with a 3 under 69.

When rained stop play late Friday Brad was through 11 holes with a 6 foot putt to save par to play on the 12th.

Brad made the put, par’d the next and then dropped 5 shots in the following 5 holes to end the day with a 77 and was two over. When Brad walked off there were 67 players at 1 over so understandably disappointed thinking he would not be playing the weekend.

Brad played the weekend but was unable to capitalise on his experience playing in the wind and shot a 78 and 74 to end the week in 75th = spot.

The highlight was Brad making the cut in his first event played in New Zealand on the Australasian Tour since turning professional in November 2005.

Brad has the week off before heading to Melbourne for commitments with his clothing and eyewear Sponsor Oakley www.oakley.com.au next Monday.
