Brad has another top 25 finish at the Xerox Classic 18/08/2008
Playing in the Xerox Classic Brad shot an even par 70 on Thursday. Brad described this course, which was played at the Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, as the most challenging course played this year on the Nationwide tour, suggesting it was a course that would sort the men out from the boys.
Brad shot a 3 under 67 on Friday to sit at 3 under and 5 shots off the lead going into the weekend.
Saturday after having two bogies early on in the round, Brad had birdies on the 16th and 17th to finish even par for the day.
Sunday Brad got out to 2 over early before having a birdie on the last
hole for a 1 over 71, and a top 25 finish, finishing in 24th spot.
Brad has also played in the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open and
began the tournament with a 4 under 67, followed by a 3 under 68 to sit
at 7 under going into the week end. Brad couldnt make much happened
over the weekend shooting a two 1 over par round 72s to finish in 51st
spot.
Brad sits in 94th spot on the Order of Merit after some nice paydays
the last 4 weeks and with the re-rank completed after the Xerox
Classic now sits well inside the start line for all the remaining
events,
Brads goal over the next 7 events, including this weeks event The
Northeast Pennsylvania Classic is to stay in the top 100 on the Order
of Merit which will provide him the same category he gained a
qualifying school last year and then aim to get inside the top 60 in
the Nationwide Order of Merit with a top 3 result over the next few
weeks.
