Brad has his 1st top 10 finish on the Nationwide Tour 21/07/2008
Brad shot a 6 under 66 this morning to finish 8th at 17 under par including 26 Birdies playing The Price Cutter Charity Championship at Highland Springs.
Thursday Brad began the tournament with 4 four under 68 after having a morning tee time.
8 birdies in his round Friday saw Brad shoot a 7 under 65 and sit in 2nd = spot going into the weekend.
Saturday was a test after being 3 over par after 5 holes is was a case
of toughing it out to shoot an even par round including birdies on the
17th and 18th holes.
So Sunday Brad shot a 6 under 66 with 8 birdies in the round again with birdies on the 17th and 18th holes.
With the top 10 result and a nice pay day Brad leapt up from 146th spot to 107th on the Order of Merit.
Finishing inside the top 25 sees Brad gain an immediate start for this
week’s event Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational at The Ohio
State University Golf Club after previous sitting at 3rd reserve.
Brad will now gain starts in all remaining events on the Nationwide Tour this year.
