Brad plays the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship 18/02/2008
Brad had what could be considered the toughest tee time Thursday being given the task of collecting the flags teeing off last on the 10th tee.
Ironically the wind arrived from the south and it was all on. After I had caddied earlier in the day it was a totally different course when the wind blows.
Brad started with a birdie but made the turn at three over the card after struggling on the 15th par 4 after having a short visit in the hazard.
This was followed with birdies on 1, 2 and 3 his 10th 11th and 12th holes, all straight into the wind including a chip in on 2 to get back to even par.
A bogey on 4 followed by a birdie on 6 saw Brad finish even with the card for the day and a great result.
Sunday Brad struggled to get out of first gear making the turn 1 over and finished the day 4 over in 108th position.
It was Brads new caddie for the 2008 season Sam Pinfolds first tournament on the bag for 08 so a good experience and I have just had a text from Brad who has just spent the day practicing at Moonah Links after flying out first thing this morning.
